On sale since 2017, the huge villa of singer Kelly Clarkson has finally found a buyer for 5.7 million francs.
Kelly Clarkson, who rose to fame after being the first American Idol winner in 2002 and now a singer, songwriter and talk show host, has finally sold her villa. The property, located on the shores of Old Hickory Lake in Tennessee, had been on sale since 2017.
At the time, the 39-year-old still wanted 8.75 million dollars (the equivalent of 8 million francs). After four years on the market, the property finally found a buyer at 6.3 million dollars (5.7 million francs). Kelly Clarkson did not sell at a loss, however, as the villa cost her just under $ 3 million in 2013.
An idyllic location
The villa is pretty, but takes all its value by its location. Located on the shores of Old Hickory Lake, approximately 40 kilometers from Nashville, it stretches over 16,000 m² of wooded grounds and has direct access to the lake. The huge garden is home to many old trees, a volleyball court, a greenhouse, a large swimming pool, as well as a pavilion with a brazier. It goes without saying that the boathouse should not be missing for a house by the lake.
With its living space of over 1800 m², the property offers plenty of space to accommodate friends, family and passing guests. It has seven bedrooms, the largest of which has a fireplace and a large bathroom. But even the other rooms have bathrooms. The villa also has a home cinema, two game rooms – one for adults with a pool table and the other for the little ones – an office on two floors, as well as a sports Hall.
