NASA’s Perseverance rover has photographed a mysterious tangle of wires on Mars, which in the United States has already been renamed “Mars Spaghetti”. The curious discovery, which took place in a hitherto unexplored area of the Jezero crater, immediately ended up at the center of social media attention. The tangle was immortalized on July 12, but four days later it was gone. Nothing unusual, however: according to NASA, it could be one of the remains of the rover’s landing system, which arrived there due to the Martian wind.
