A strong explosion thundered in Melitopol

In Melitopol on Monday morning there was a strong explosion, said Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the military-civilian administration of the Zaporozhye region.

According to him, the explosion occurred around 7:40 am in the city center. Several streets were filled with clouds of black smoke.

“Inhabitants of the streets of Bohdan Khmelnitsky, Sergey Kirov, Petro Doroshenko, the windows and walls in their houses were trembling,” Rogov wrote in his Telegram channel.

Rogov did not report on the victims and the causes of the explosion, he only blamed the Ukrainian side for the incident.
