A photographer lost consciousness after a collision with Georgia midfielder Brian Herrien in Saturday's game in Auburn.

A woman, identified as a Georgia student photographer by CBS, was on the Georgian sideline near an end zone filming the match when Herrian was chased out of bounds on a pass . While he was coming out of bounds, he hit her while she was holding her camera and she was flying backwards.

CBS reporter Jamie Erdahl said the woman, a trainee in Georgia's sports department, was still unaware that the medical staff had started caring for her. However, she was awake and conscious, whereas she had been transported off the field on a stretcher with a splint around her head and neck and taken to the East Alabama Medical Center.

Erdahl also said Georgia coach Kirby Smart told him that Herrien was visibly upset about what had happened to the photographer in the locker room and that Herrien and quarterback Jake Fromm had recited a prayer for her.

The game was delayed while the woman was treated. After its recovery, Georgia (No. 4) took a 14-0 lead at half-time over the Tigers (12) and won the game 21-14.
