The hospital staff in charge of Dr. Evelyn Salas and belonging to the Sanitary Zone III whose head is Dr. Fernando Balmaceda, carried out a Health Promotion and Prevention campaign called “Physical Health and Well-being”.
The activities took place in the Escuela Antártida Argentina and in the plaza, both in the town of Angualasto.
On the day, informative talks and games on healthy eating, diabetes and HIV were held. In addition, glycemia control and tests for Hepatitis, Syphilis and HIV were performed; promotion of the My Second Thousand Days Program; COVID-19 vaccination and regular calendar cards were completed.
The activity was led by professionals from Hospital Tomás Perón, nutritionist Lic. Shirley Balmaceda; pharmacist Melisa Olivares; nurse Alberto De Miguel and health worker Milton Ramos.
