The deputy was helping a sheriff's deputy to respond to a call on Thursday about a teen brawl on the Summerset car park at International Crossing in Orlando, according to 911 Call and Sheriff County's records. Orange, John Mina.
In a body video published by the Orange County Sheriff's Office, the Deputy Minister approaches the girl, grabbing his arm and placing him behind his back, saying: Whoever started this all day today anyway. "
"I'm fed up with that," said the deputy pulling the girl's head, which is wrapped in a scarf.
He then directs the girl to a police car while she screams. When a group of people gathers around them, the deputy shouts to the crowd to come back and pulls his stick.
"It's because you're stupid. You're all stupid kids! Stupid kids, that's what you are!," The MP's voice is heard right after he's put the girl in the police car and away.
The teens were students from nearby Westridge Middle School, according to 911 records. It is unclear whether the school's resource officer has been assigned to this school.
"There is no doubt that his actions were excessive," said Mina.
The MP, who was not appointed, joined the agency in February. Mina said that he was not aware of any other complaints about the MP.
"I am extremely upset, disappointed and scandalized by the conduct of our deputy sheriff in this case," Mina told reporters. "I want the community to know that this type of behavior will not be tolerated at the Orange County Sheriff's Office."
The girl was not identified either and Mina stated that he did not know his age or his rank.
The deputy minister is currently not being charged, but the Sheriff's Office Internal Affairs Section is reviewing the case. The Attorney General's office will decide whether to charge criminal charges, Mina said.
