A drug gang that operated in Corrientes and Santa Fe fell

A total of five people were arrested in the framework of a drug investigation, where a gang that operated in the Goya and Reconquista area was disrupted. In this sense, the Argentine Naval Prefecture raided seven houses, six in Corrientes and one in Santa Fe.

It was in the framework of an investigation carried out in conjunction with the Federal Police and the National Gendarmerie, they highlighted.

Marijuana, cocaine, four motorcycles, two cars, a pistol, ammunition and cell phones, among other items of interest to the cause, whose value exceeds $5,800,000, were seized.

The series of procedures, ordered by the Federal Court of First Instance of Goya, in charge of Cristina Elizabeth Pozzer Penzo, Criminal Secretary of Héctor Daniel Montiel, began on Thursday, at 11:00 p.m., when the Reconquista Prefecture raided a home in Pasaje 101 to 103 of the North Cooperation neighborhood, in the city of Avellaneda.

A 37-year-old merchant from Misiones, but who lived in Avellaneda for several years, was apprehended. The procedure for infraction of Law 23,737 on drugs continued in the early hours of yesterday in Goya, where cell phones, $188,500, a video surveillance device and a white Chevrolet Onyx were seized.

This is an investigation that included a total of 22 raids, requested by Judge Pozzer, seven of which were carried out by the Prefecture in Goya, Bella Vista and Avellaneda, Santa Fe.
