The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad, Nasser Bourita, and his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, exchanged messages of congratulations on Friday on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, celebrated the same day.
The two ministers highlighted the mutual interest in the continuation of the development and deepening of the multidimensional and mutually beneficial cooperation between Morocco and Russia, said a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad.
They also confirmed the aspiration of the two countries to maintain effective coordination in the field of foreign policy in the interest of regional and international security and stability.
