42 games in development, 28 projects not yet announced

Last Friday, THQ Nordic announced six games and presented new video material for two titles that had already been presented – in keeping with the company’s tenth anniversary. The Austrian publisher subsequently made it clear via Twitter that they had only shown a fraction of their upcoming games portfolio. A total of 42 games are currently in development, 28 of which have not yet been officially announced – without the projects of the subsidiary HandyGames.

There are rumors about a successor to Titan Quest from Grimlore Games (Spellforce 3), which is codenamed “Project Minerva” (source). A new TimeSplitters part cannot be expected from THQ Nordic, however, but from Deep Silver, as the rights within the Embracer Group have been moved. The THQ titles already presented include the remake of Gothic 1, Knights of Honor 2: Sovereign, Scarf and the early access permanent construction site The Guild 3. You can find a list of all brands and acquisitions of THQ Nordic here.
