Murder alarm in Tyrol: A dead man with multiple stab wounds on his upper body was found on a highway parking lot in Zirl today. Meanwhile, the police arrested a bloodied man.
A 35-year-old Pole was found dead in a small truck on a motorway parking lot in Zirl (Innsbruck-Land district) on Sunday morning. The man had multiple stab wounds to his upper body. A 36-year-old Pole with blood-smeared clothing was discovered in another pickup truck parked next to it, police said. He was arrested and the interrogation was still ongoing in the afternoon.

According to the police, the two men met in the parking lot on Saturday evening and then drank alcohol well into the night. How and why the stab wounds occurred is still being determined, it said. An autopsy on the body was scheduled for Monday.
Tyrol: murder alarm in Zirl
At around 6.30 a.m., the executive was informed that there was a small truck with a Polish license plate in the parking lot of the Inntalautobahn (A12) Zirl-Inzing, the vehicle door was open and there was blood on it and on the ground. When emergency services arrived, they found the man dead in the vehicle.
The forensic investigation was completed in the afternoon. The parking lot was closed for several hours.
