The MX League announced that the application of the updated Sanitary Protocol began with a view to the start of Closure 2022.
As announced in recent days, the League and the clubs would intensify the application of tests to detect covid-19, given the increase in cases in Mexico and the world due to the variant omicron.
Derived from the new protocols, three thousand 757 tests were applied among the members of the Maximum Circuit, Expansion League, Liga MX Women Y Basic forces resulting in 93 positive cases, 26 of them from teams of First division.
“People, as indicated by health protocols, are isolated and under medical observation. For their reintegration to the activity they must wait 10 days after the delivery of the result or present a new negative test,” revealed the MX League in statement.
The members of the Liga MX Women they added 21 cases; while of the Expansion League Y Basic forces 23 were positive each.
